IllinoisRecall.com is a
bipartisan grassroots effort to add a recall provision to the
Constitution of the State of Illinois.Currently 26 states allow some form of recall to remove corrupt officials or those whose policies and performance fail to meet the expectations of the citizens who elected them to office.
State Senator and DuPage County Republican Chairman Dan Cronin is the sponsor of Illinois Senate Joint Resolution Constitutional Amendment # 70 (SJRCA 70) which would amend the Illinois Constitution to allow Illinois voters the opportunity to recall politicians who fail to do their job.
Three steps will end the nightmare in Springfield and return Illinois government to the people of Illinois.
Here's how you can help:
Encourage your state legislators to support SJRCA 70
Senate Joint Resolution Constitutional Amendment 70 (SJRCA 70) must pass both houses of the Illinois legislature with a 3/5 vote.
Voter Approval
Once the General Assembly approves SJRCA 70 Illinois voters will have the opportunity to cast a vote in support of adding a recall provision to the Illinois Constitution.
Recall Rod
The last step will be to initiate a recall effort to remove Rod Blagojevich and the out of touch politicians who years from now may follow in his shoes. Illinois government must be returned to the people of Illinois.
